Even if you prefer something small and intimate for your Finger Lakes wedding, you still want your special day to be full of magic and wonderful memories. We understand that at 10 Fitch, and it is our delight to offer our inn as a unique, private, romantic venue for your elopement, small wedding, or vow renewal.

Between mid-May and mid-October, you may choose to exchange your vows inside the inn or, weather permitting, in our beautiful back yard and gardens. During cooler months, what could be more romantic than exchanging your vows in front of the fireplace in the drawing room? If you envision 20 or less guests attending, 10 Fitch may have the perfect package for you. Packages are always priced separately from our suites at 10 Fitch, and a minimum stay of one night is required to book a wedding at the inn. Your total cost will depend on what time of year you book your event with us. Weekends from June-October book up months in advance. You may obtain a New York State wedding license at the City Clerks office here in Auburn just down the street from 10 Fitch. Both the bride & groom must apply in person. The marriage license is issued immediately but the marriage ceremony may not take place until at least 24 hours from the time that the license is issued. The cost of the license is $40 and is valid for 60 days, beginning the day after it is issued. This fee includes the issuance of a Certificate of Marriage Registration. This certificate is automatically sent by the issuing clerk to the applicants within 15 days after the completed license is returned by the officiant (person who performs the marriage ceremony). It serves as notice that a record of the marriage is on file. Couples who do not receive a Certificate of Marriage Registration within four weeks of the wedding should contact the town or city clerk who issued the license.Proof of age and identity are required. AND on of the following identity related documents:

1. Driver's license
2. Passport
3. Employment picture ID
4. Immigration record

Previous Marriages- Information regarding previous marriages must be furnished in the application for a marriage license. This includes whether the former spouse or spouses are living, and whether the applicants are divorced and, if so, when, where and against whom the divorce or divorces were granted. A certified copy of the Decree of Divorce or a Certificate of Dissolution of Marriage is required by the clerk issuing the marriage license.
