Willard Memorial Chapel
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this 1894 chapel is a masterpiece of Tiffany design. Auburn Fleming Trail, Auburn: Converted from an old railroad bed, this is a 1.6 mile trail through scenic woods, wetlands, and farmland. At the southern end of Owasco Lake, in the village of Moravia, Fillmore Glen State Park is a favorite destination off the lake. These hiking trails afford some of the most magnificent views of gorges and waterfalls in all of the Finger Lakes. The trails around the Cowshead area are paved and easily accessible. The Gorge trail, North Rim, and South Rim trails are moderately challenging, and all three afford great scenic vistas.
Owasco Lake, Auburn: With Emerson Park at the north and Fillmore Glen State Park at the south end of the route, this ride around Owasco Lake is one of the easiest and picturesque around a Finger Lake. There are no marked biking trails on the lake, so you will need to be comfortable with road riding. The circuit around the lake is a popular road route with easy to moderate Terrain. Owasco Lake, Auburn: Public access to the lake is very limited to Emerson Park only. There is a public beach, as well as two hand and trailer launches there. Pontoon boats may be rented from Owasco Marine, a full-service marina located right on the outlet at Emerson Park. Waterfalls, Gorges, State Parks
Fillmore Glen State Park - Moravia 25 minutes from 10 Fitch: 941 acres including gorge and waterfalls, with camping, swimming, hiking, and fishing available. Winter activities include cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. The park is named for Millard Fillmore, 13th President of the U.S., who was born in a log cabin near the park. Taughannock Falls State Park "Trumansburg" 1 hour from 10 Fitch: Truly one of the most outstanding natural attractions in the Northeast, Taughannock Falls State's waterfall is one of the highest east of the Rocky Mountains dropping an amazing 215 feet, which is 33 feet higher than the American side of Niagara. Buttermilk Falls State Park Ithaca 1 hour from 10 Fitch: Flowing down the east side of Cayuga Valley, Buttermilk Creek drops more than 600 feet over 10 separate waterfalls and through two discreet glens in the park. The main attraction, Buttermilk Falls, is directly accessible and visible from the parking lot in the lower area. The other waterfalls are accessible by crossing the bridge over the creek in the main parking area and hiking the gorge trail. Spring, early summer, fall. The park's trails are closed after November, but Buttermilk Falls is still accessible from the lower parking lot area. The upper park has a small lake, hiking trails through woodlands and along the gorge and rim, picnic areas, and playing fields. The lower park has a campground, pool, and playing fields, beyond which is Larch Meadows. Larch Meadows is a moist, shady glen and wetland area through which a nature trail winds. Park activities, including tours through Buttermilk gorge, are offered weekly from July 4th through Labor Day.

Cayuga County is a golfer's paradise with ten public golf courses available from April - October. All of the courses are beautiful and offer challenges for any level of player. Skiing & Snowshoing
10 Fitch is about an hours drive from two great ski resorts making it a perfect place to park your ski's after a day on the slopes and relax away from the crowds in the evenings.
- Briston Mountain is located 1 hour 14 minutes from Auburn in the Western Finger Lakes of Upstate New York, right in the award winning wine country region. Bristol boasts a summit elevation of 2200’ and a base elevation of 1000’. The vertical of 1200’ allows Bristol Mountain to reign as the highest vertical between the Adirondack Mountains of the east and the Rocky Mountains of the west. The views from the top of the mountain are magnificent, as are the paths down each of the 33 slopes and trails, including a peaceful 2-mile run.

Cross country skiing and snowshoing are popular winter activities here in the FInger Lakes and there are plenty of choices near 10 Fitch where you can go to enjoy the outdoors and this great winter time activity.
- The Auburn-Fleming Trail Only a 5 minute drive from 10 FItch, this is a flat 1.6 mile trail through woods, wetlands and farmland connecting Rt. 34 in the Town of Fleming to Dunning Ave. in the City of Auburn.
Fillmore Glen State Park Located at the end of Owasco Lake, Fillmore Glen is about a half hour drive from 10 Fitch. Skiing and snowshoeing are permitted on all unplowed roads.
