Michael Winterbottom’s largely improvised 2010 film, The Trip to Italy, took comedians Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon-or semifictionalized versions thereof-on a restaurant tour around northern England. Donna is a local singer-songwriter who has been performing with the band Edgy Folk for many years. She released her first solo album, Early Girl, in December 2013. Donna’s songs have been described as sweet and poignant with understated beauty. Her recent project with friends Paul Wakker and Ted Williams features original songs from Early Girl, as well as traditional and cover songs with an emphasis on beautiful harmonies…. and having fun!
