Post Standard Interviews David’s Refuge and Finds Out What Works
During a recent David’s Refuge Weekend here at 10 Fitch the Post Standard sent a reporter to interview David’s Refuge founders Warren & Brenda Pfohl
November 2014 marked the one year anniversary of our partnership with David’s Refuge, a not for profit that provides cost free stays to parents of seriously ill children. To date 10 Fitch has hosted 14 David’s Refuge exclusive two night stays at the inn, filling all three of our suites with a host couple and two couples with special needs children, who come to be refreshed and loved on. Some couples have shared a bit of their stories, and photos of their families with us and it truly a blessing to us to be a small part of what God is doing through the Pfohls and their ministry.
Recently, during a David’s Refuge weekend at 10 Fitch, the Post Standard interviewed the Pfohls, taking photos and video of them them and the couples who were staying here. I am sharing the video below which gives a quick peek into David’s Refuge. The article goes more in-depth about this amazing organization, how it started, what they do and what their plans are to expand. You will find the full article here.
If you know any parents of seriously ill children who could use a little getaway to reconnect with one another, or if you would like additional information about David’s Refuge you can visit their website davidsrefuge.org
