May 1st & 2nd – 23rd Annual Wine & Herb Festival – Participating wineries on the Cayuga Wine Trail. If you have a green thumb, and even if you don’t, you definitely don’t want to miss our 23rd Annual Wine & Herb Festival. Build your garden full of fragrant herbs and veggies. You’ll receive a wine glass, a garden plan and a plant carrier at your starting point winery plus potted herb or veggie plants from each of the 17 participating wineries. As you savor herb- prepared cuisine, you’ll be offered a wine that compliments that dish and be able to take home the recipes, so that you can be the highlight at your next get together. You’ll also be offered up to 3 additional wine tastings. At the end of the event, hand in your ticket to be eligible to win one of our Grand Prizes!

A Couple ticket receives, 2 wine glasses, 1 herb or veggie per winery, one garden plan and one plant carrier plus wine and food pairings, extra tastings and recipe cards. Be among the first to view rare memorabilia from the life of American icon Shirley Temple when the Personal Childhood Collection of Shirley Temple display kicks off its nationwide tour at The Strong. The display includes dozens of objects from Temple’s early life and from her years as America’s sweetheart, such as original costumes used in her Hollywood films, dolls from her personal collection, and childhood gifts from other artists and actors spanning her classic years from 1928 to 1941. May 2nd – Julie Budd in “Center Stage” – Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, 6877 E. Lake Rd., Auburn. Julie Budd is considered to be one of the most exciting singers on the scene today. While enjoying a multi-faceted musical career, Julie Budd’s credits range from television to film, the New York stage, and symphonies all over the country, along with the most lavish casinos and showrooms everywhere. The New York Times raved with a full 2-page glowing retrospective of Julie’s career, declaring Ms. Budd “The Consummate Performer.” She began her professional career at the tender age of twelve, after meeting record producer/orchestrator Herb Bernstein. He immediately took Julie under his wing and introduced her to Merv Griffin at a recording session in New York City. After hearing Julie sing, this “Mini Girl with the Maxi Voice” was invited to appear on more than 100 of Merv’s Shows. From there Julie went on to appear on The Tonight Show, Entertainment Tonight and every major TV show.
