July 18th Culinary Expeditions, Seward House Museum, 33 South St., Auburn, NY 13021

The Seward House Museum, in partnership with Skillet & Embers Catering Company, is pleased to announce its summer fundraising event, Culinary Expeditions, an international food tasting event based on the travels of William Henry Seward. Culinary Expeditions will take place in the Seward House garden on Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

During the event, guests are invited to explore the international journeys of William Henry Seward with samplings of cuisine from around the world, prepared from scratch by the award-winning Skillet & Embers Catering Company, the catering division of the Inns of Aurora. The event will also include sampling of craft beers and fine wines produced both locally and internationally, a silent auction, and live music by a Symphoria trio from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Root SHOCK, central New York’s finest roots soul reggae party, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Tickets for Culinary Expeditions will go on sale on June 2, 2015 at 10:00 AM. Event tickets will be $35 per person or $100 at the Contributor level, which includes recognition in the event program and the fall issue of the Seward House Museum newsletter.
