October 17th – Chestnut Festival, 5480 Route 89, Romulus, NY. Each fall we harvest the chestnuts grown right at Goose Watch Winery and host one of the biggest celebrations of the year! From 1pm to 6pm enjoy LIVE music while you sample a variety of foods made from our own chestnuts. While you’re here you can also have fun playing lawn games while overlooking the beautiful fall foliage on Cayuga Lake! October 24th – Old Fashion Halloween, Ward O’Hara Agricultural, 6880 NY-38A, Auburn, NY. Old Fashion Halloween – O’Hara Agricultural Museum & Karpinski Education Center. Bring the little ones to the Museum/Ed Center for an afternoon of old fashion fun and entertainment. Visit the haunted herb garden or partake in the many activities for young and old. Face painting, coloring contests, pumpkin carving and much much more. All children are invited to come in costume and participate in the Grand Parade that will take place at 3 PM sharp. There will be Trick or Treating for all youth 12 and under throughout the museum. Costumes will be judged and prizes will be awarded. October 30th – Auburn Chamber Orchester Presents: Made in America, Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, 6877 East Lake Rd., Auburn, NY.
