It’s been 18 years since we visited the prairie and we’re excited to return! June 3rdGeneva Music Festival : “Spirit of Life”, First Presbyterian Church, 97 East Genesee Street, Skaneateles, NY. This concert features the remarkable pairing of first-time GMF artist Dashon Burton along with returning festival favorite Christopher Janwong McKiggan. Grammy Award® winner and founding member of the vocal ensemble Roomful of Teeth, Burton will perform an elegant rendition of lieder and art songs. 7:30pm. Admission: $20.

June 3rd 30th Anniversary Celebration, Swedish Hill Winery, 4565 State Route 414, Romulus, NY. Complete with live music, bbq food, and even a rare vertical comparative tasting of several previous vintages of our famed Optimus (Meritage) blend with our winemakers and owners (reservations required). Hear how the winemakers view each previous vintage and how they arrive at the blends each year. June 5th  Inspiration: A Festival of Nature and the Arts, 15380 Jenzvolt Road, Sterling, NY. The annual Festival of Nature and Arts will feature live musical entertainment. There will also be local artists and authors as well as rock painting and other hands-on activities for children and the young at heart as well as a craft fair. June 9thAuburn Public Theater Presents : The Calamari Sisters’ Clambake, 8 Exchange Street, Auburn, NY. The Calamari Sisters return to Auburn after making quite a splash last year with their wild Christmas antics and their zany musical wedding. This summer get ready for an even crazier, zanier, and fishier time. That’s right – Delphine & Carmela will be teaching you the ins and outs of an Italian clam bake. You’ll laugh until your sides hurt as these two plus size siblings sing, dance, and cook their way through the perfect summer picnic. By the end of this year’s cooking lesson, you’ll agree that The Calamari Sisters have the juiciest clams in town!

June 10th Music on the Mall Revival, Downtown Auburn, NY. Live outdoor music performances in the State Street band shell from 7:00 – 10:00 pm every second Friday June – September. June 16thFinger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival Presents – The PiTCH, Theater Mack, 203 Genesee Street, Auburn, NY. Back for its fifth season, The PiTCH provides a forum for musicals in their earliest stages of development. Each week, a new creative team arrives in Auburn to focus on the process of creating their new musical. During their residency, they ‘pitch’ their show or material to audiences in an 80-seat converted carriage house, Theater Mack – behind the Cayuga Museum. Each presentation is approximately an hour long. Witness the show’s creative process and be part of the dialogue and feedback session following each presentation to a live audience.
