As the old saying goes, April showers bring May flowers, which we are very much looking forward to! Our backyard gardens are open for you to explore and relax in. We’d love to have you here with us during the month of April, to relax and reconnect with your loved one.

The following are some events happening near the Inn during the month of April:

April 1st – May 28th Inside Standing Rock: Photographs by Alex Hamer, Cayuga Museum of History & Art, 203 Genesee Street, Auburn, NY. Inside Standing Rock features photos from an historic gathering of Native Nations not seen in over 100 years. The rising of Indigenous youth, the fight for clean water, and the assertion of Native rights. Wed-Sat 12pm-5pm. Admission: Non-Members $6 Seniors $5 Members Free Children under 12 Free. April 8th – April 9th Tapas & Wine Weekend, Keuka Lake Wine Trail, 2375 NY-14A, Penn Yan, NY. Who doesn’t love sampling small bites of a variety of scrumptious appetizers? Join us as we savor the star of every social gathering-the hors d’oeuvre. We will show you delightful pairings sure to wow the crowds at your next event. Event hours: Saturday & Sunday 10am-5pm.

At your starting winery, you will receive a complimentary Keuka Lake Wine Trail wine glass, along with a appetizer plate that allows you to conveniently hold your wine glass and tapas on one plate! Then at each winery, taste four delicious wines and savor samples of hearty foods chosen to highlight the quality of our wines and the passion and skills of our people. 28 wine samples and more than a dozen food samples… an unbeatable value! April 8th – April 9thOpening Weekend at Watkins Glen International, 2790 County Route 16,Watkins Glen, NY. Experience the twists and turns of our world-renowned road course from the driver’s seat of your personal vehicle. Take your car on the track for three paced laps behind an official WGI vehicle for $25 per vehicle, per three laps. Proceeds benefit Watkins Glen International’s RACE Foundation. April 8th – April 9thVaVa Bloom Garden Show, Dickman Farms, 13 Archie Street, Auburn, NY. Fun for everyone! April 21st- April 23rd Spring Wine & Cheese Weekend, 2 North Franklin Street, Watkins Glen, NY. This is an incredibly popular event, combining the classic tastes of wine and cheese into one delectable weekend. It is a self-guided tour around beautiful Seneca Lake visiting 33 unique, participating wineries. Just check in and pick up your gift item at your chosen starting winery then start sampling cheese-themed dishes paired with delicious award-winning wines. April 28th — 30th,  and  May 5th – 7thAnnual Wine & Herb Festival, Cayuga Lake Wine Trail, 2770 Ernsberger Road, Romulus, NY. Drink. Eat. Garden Repeat. Get a head start on your herb garden. Collect the potted herbs and veggies featured in all 16 food samples along with the matching recipe collection. As you savor herb-prepared cuisine, you’ll be offered a wine that compliments that dish and be able to take home the recipes, so that you can be the highlight at your next get together. You’ll also be offered up to 3 additional wine tastings. Herb and Veggies include: Jalapeno Pepper, Marjoram, Iceberg Lettuce, Cilantro, Parsley, Sweet 100s Tomato, Oregano, Celery,
Dill, Sage, Roma Tomato, Lavender, Sweet Banana Pepper, Meatball Eggplant, Basil and Chives. Single tickets include: 1 souvenir wine glass; 1 potted herb or veggie plant; 1 wine and food pairing at each winery ; 3 additional wine tastings per winery; 1 garden guide; 1 plant carrier; 1 recipe collection. Couples tickets include: 2 souvenir wine glasses; 1 potted herb or veggie plant; 1 wine and food pairing at each winery, per person; 3 additional wine tastings per winery, per person; 1 garden guide; 1 plant carrier; 1 recipe collection.

Each ticket is good for the whole weekend, to visit each winery once. Be sure to buy your tickets early, we have a limited amount available per weekend. Tickets to our events CANNOT be REFUNDED.

Both weekends: Friday 1:00 – 5:00 pm at Montezuma, Treleaven, Long Point and Six Mile Creek only; Saturday and Sunday 10:00 am – 6:00 pm at all 16 wineries.
