
Sally’s Chocolate Chip Cookies
Here’s the recipe for Sally’s famous chocolate chip cookies that our guests have loved since 2007! And that’s my mom Sally baking them in the photo.
Servings 3 dozen cookies
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 Cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 Cup softened 2 sticks butter (do not substitute)
- 3/4 Cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 Cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 Cups chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
IN LARGE BOWL BEAT UNTIL CREAMY:

TO LARGE BOWL ADD ONE AT A TIME:

2 large eggs
GRADUALLY BEAT FLOUR MIXTURE INTO WET INGREDIENTS:
STIR IN:

2 Cups chocolate chips
-
1 Cup chopped nuts

DROP BY ROUNDED TABLESPOON ONTO UNGREASED COOKIE SHEETS. BAKE FOR 9-11 MINUTES. COOL ON BAKING SHEETS FOR 2 MINUTES THEN TRANSFER TO WIRE RACK TO COOL COMPLETELY.
